À propos de l'événement
Eugene Ripper is a punk rock survivor; fast folk pioneer and rock n roll songwriter. From his roots as guitarist for Canada’s first wave punk rockers Stark Naked and the Fleshtones and throughout an enduring solo career featuring a mash up of punk, folk, blues and rock n roll, Ripper nails it down with his unique musical vibe and crafty songwriting skills. It’s all well represented on his latest offering - a single featuring an A side original number “Ride The Northern Train” backed with B side “Dark as a Dungeon” - a cover of the Merle Travis classic in homage to the memory of Ripper’s father who was a mining man. Limited edition vinyl will be on sale at the show.
