Finding inspiration in the blending of many genres such as world music, folk songs, irish reels, french canadian traditionals and even a sprinkle of progressive rock, the band travels through time and space to bring you a new flavor of folk music.

It is with Roch Albert singing and playing the guitar, Dominic Gamelin playing the banjo and ukulele, Tim Savard on violin and Louis-Martin Richard on bass that the band presents its first album.

The album is the result of a fruitful collaboration between Roch Albert and Dominic Gamelin who wrote and composed all the songs found on the record.

The only exception to the rule being Le Reel de Mattawa, originally written by french canadian mythic figure Richard Forest.

Joined in the studio by harmonica player Pascal Per Veillette (Les Tireux d'Roches) and violin player Tommy Gauthier (Yves Lambert) the band was able to add to its ranks some first class players, bringing an extra touch of magic to the album.

Diversity, virtuosity as well as exceptional composition and songwriting are what makes the signature of Old Man Medicine; an inspiring project with surprises on every corner.
