LA RIVE GAUCHE in Montréal
The Italian quintet "La Rive Gauche" will be featured in a concert at "La Petite Marche" in Montréal on December 6, 2022 at 9:30 pm. The musical ensemble was the winner of the Jazz IT Abroad call for proposals that supports the development of concerts abroad, is promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and managed by Italia Music Lab.
The members of the group, after a long militancy in Claudio Capurro's "Big Borgo Band" (an orchestra that has performed for many years in Italy hosting also international artists such as Phil Woods, Scott Hamilton, Jon Faddis, Dado Moroni...) develop the project by elaborating Luca Cresta's original music and producing in 2019 the album "One!" for the prestigious label "Dodicilune".
