Labo Trads - Young Tradition Vermont Touring Group

The Touring Group is an ensemble of talented teenage musicians, singers, and dancers from Vermont, Massachusetts and Québec, led this year by Pascal Gemme (of Genticorum) and Véronique Plasse (of Bon Débarras), who will be on tour in Québec in June.  A program of Vermont Folklife, the Touring Group nurtures youth involvement in traditional music and dance, providing opportunities to learn from tradition bearers, to build connections with artists and communities from Vermont and beyond, and to perform traditional repertoire.  This year's Touring Group performances feature an exciting and diverse program of traditional Québécois music, from traditional call and response singing, to energetic reels that will have folks dancing in their seats, and evocative arrangements full of lovely harmonies.  To learn more about this group please visit: https://www.vtfolklife.org/touring-group.
